Job summary

M8M Pte Ltd in Penang is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to manage electrical projects from planning through commissioning. You will coordinate site operations, review documents, and provide technical support to interdisciplinary teams.

The role requires hands-on wiring and installation experience, willingness to travel frequently to project sites and overseas, and strong communication in English and Mandarin. Proficiency with AutoCAD and PLC-based control systems is a plus.

Qualifications

Electrical & electronic engineering qualification required.
Automation design knowledge on control systems (hardware & software).
Experience with motor control and PLC-based designs is an advantage.
Fluency in English and Mandarin.
Willingness to travel frequently to project sites and overseas.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and submit project documents such as schedules and risk assessments.
Coordinate installation schedules and resource allocation.
Support site operations for materials, manpower, testing and commissioning.
Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and teams.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide guidance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems.
Document lessons learned and best practices.
