Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Project Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical/ELV/Data Centre) with strong expertise in electrical and/or mechanical systems, ELV/Data Centre familiarity, and experience in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance.

The role involves ensuring compliance with codes, standards and safety requirements, and delivering projects on time and within budget. Candidates should be able to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of project engineering experience in electrical/M&E or infrastructure.
• Knowledge of electrical installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in planning, coordinating and executing electrical systems and related infrastructure.
• Ensure delivery according to scope, schedule, cost and quality.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors and utility providers.
• Oversee electrical installation, testing, commissioning and energization.
• Prepare technical documents, testing plans and inspection checklists.
• Maintain records of energization, commissioning, defects and rectifications.
