Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to contribute to the design and delivery of datacenter facilities, ensuring alignment with client goals and delivery timelines.

You will apply standards such as TIA942, BICSI, IEC61439, IEEE493, BS7671 to guide project design and delivery, and work on MVAC/ELV systems, fire suppression, and civil works with 5+ years of experience in datacenter integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in datacenter integration or turnkey solutions.
• Experience with large-scale datacenters (100MW) in consulting, design, or project management is highly valued.
• Professional certifications (ATD or CDCP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review solution architecture designs from the Solutions Architect to ensure alignment with project goals and delivery timelines.
• Present technical datacenter solutions to clients and negotiate datacenter project terms using strong communication and sales skills.
• Conduct client requirements surveys and analysis to develop effective datacenter facility solutions.
• Apply deep knowledge of datacenter industry standards (TIA942, BICSI, IEC61439, IEEE493, BS7671) to guide project design and delivery.
• Manage datacenter facility design, including electrical, MVAC, ELV systems, fire suppression and detections systems, and civil works.
• Evaluate and select key equipment such as Diesel Generators, HV/LV Panels, Transformers, UPS, Batteries, PDU, Busway, and Cables
