Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Project Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical/ELV/Data Centre) with strong expertise in electrical and/or mechanical systems. You will manage installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance while coordinating with consultants, contractors, and utility providers.

The candidate should ensure work complies with ST regulations, safety standards, and industry codes, and be capable of independent or team-based project delivery within schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• BachelorA05s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 20–5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably electrical systems or M&E works.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Familiar with ST regulations, Electricity Supply Act, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing project activities focusing on electrical systems and related infrastructure.
• Support the PM to deliver the project according to scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and utility providers (e.g., TNB) on electrical matters.
• Monitor project progress and provide site updates highlighting risks to the PM.
• Prepare project plans, method statements, testing plans, and technical documents.
• Oversee electrical installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and readiness per ST regulations.
• Ensure electrical works comply with statutory requirements, codes of practice, and safety standards.
• Lead electrical safety at site, including LOTO, PTW, and energization control.
