Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled Electrical/ME technician to operate, inspect, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment across facilities. You will ensure safety, minimize downtime through proactive testing, and coordinate with sub-contractors for repairs and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles and to understand operating budgets.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned inspections, quality control, and supervision of employees, sub-Contractors and other services.
• Deal with incidents, complaints, breakdowns and repairs.
• Act as a Competent Person in providing engineering and technical assessment; troubleshoot and implement solutions with subcontractors.
• Provide 24 hour emergency support and be first response to emergencies.
• Carry out routine inspections on the property and follow up with tenants on repairs.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance and corrective work.
• Supervise term contractors or service providers to ensure work meets scope and terms.
• Attend to calls relating to technical matters.
• Ensure safety rules and guidelines are followed.
• Conduct regular inspections of M&E equipment and record readings as required.
• Perform other work for effective operation of the Property or as directed.
