Job summary

Randstad's client, a well-established engineering solutions provider, seeks a cost management and tendering specialist for complex electrical infrastructure projects. You will conduct quantity take-offs, evaluate vendor quotes, and prepare tender documentation to support bids.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and experience in cost estimation, building automation, HV/LV systems, and AutoCAD with advanced spreadsheets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in cost estimation or technical pricing in mechanical/electrical construction.
• Knowledge of high-voltage distribution networks, building automation, and LV systems.
• Familiarity with local codes, regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and advanced spreadsheet tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimations for high/low voltage systems.
• Evaluate vendor quotes, subcontractor proposals and specs for competitiveness.
• Prepare tender docs, technical proposals, and client presentation packages.
• Participate in site briefings and technical reviews to identify risks and costs.
• Partner with project management to maintain cost controls and budget alignment.
