Job summary

Sealtik M&E Sdn Bhd is seeking an Electrical Engineer to oversee core infrastructure projects in telecommunications, street lighting, and TNB-related works. The role involves managing supply applications, design and installation planning, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering and hands-on experience with project coordination, site supervision, and producing technical drawings and reports for client approvals.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrical Engineer or Senior Electrical Engineer.
• Experience overseeing telecommunications infrastructure, street lighting, and power/TNB-related projects.
• Familiarity with local authority guidelines (TNB, JKR, MCMC) and electrical safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end TNB supply application processes, including submission of technical documentation and coordination with TNB engineers for power turn-on and meter installation.
• Design, plan, and supervise power system installations, fiber optic conduits, BTS power integrations, and backup power setups (UPS/generators).
• Manage street lighting developments, including feeder pillar designs, underground cabling, LV distribution boards, and smart LED lighting controls.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with local authority guidelines and national electrical safety standards.
• Prepare engineering drawings, SLDs, BOQs, and site reports for TNB submittals and client approvals.

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to oversee and manage our core infrastructure projects, specializing in Telecommunications Infrastructure, Street Lighting systems, and TNB Supply Application & Connection Works.

Key responsibilities

Lead end-to-end TNB supply application processes, including submission of technical documentation, load estimation, scheme design approval, and coordination with TNB engineers for power turn-on and meter installation

Design, plan, and supervise power system installations, fiber optic conduits, base transceiver station (BTS) power integrations, and backup power setups (UPS/generators)

Manage complete street lighting developments, including feeder pillar designs, underground cabling, low-voltage (LV) distribution boards, and smart LED lighting controls

Conduct site inspections to ensure technical compliance with local authority guidelines (e.g., TNB Electricity Supply Application guidelines, JKR, MCMC) and national electrical safety standards

Prepare engineering drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), bill of quantities (BOQ), and site reports required for TNB submittals and client approvals
