Key Responsibilities:
The Electrical Engineer will be involved in the planning, design, coordination and implementation of electrical infrastructure for a major industrial land development.
Responsibilities will include:
Electrical infrastructure planning and design
Power supply and electrical load planning for industrial development
Coordination of electrical distribution systems
Street lighting and traffic light systems
Telecommunications infrastructure planning
Preparation and review of drawings, specifications, calculations and technical documentation
Coordination with civil, structural and other engineering disciplines
Liaison and technical coordination with TNB, telecommunications providers, local authorities and other relevant agencies
Review of contractor submissions, shop drawings and material submissions
Site inspections and monitoring of construction works
Testing, commissioning and handover activities
Preparation of technical reports, meeting documentation and correspondence
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognised university
Preferably 2-3 years of experience in electrical engineering consultancy, infrastructure or power-related projects. Those with more experience will be considered for Senior position.
Exposure to electrical distribution, substations, underground cabling or infrastructure development will be an advantage
Good analytical, technical writing and communication skills
Ability to work with multidisciplinary project teams and external stakeholders
