ENTEGRIS ( M ) Sdn Bhd in Kedah seeks a mid-level Electrical Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes and lead Kaizen-driven improvements in a regulated environment. You will design, test, and validate processes while collaborating with vendors and cross-functional teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s in Electronic & Electrical Engineering, at least 3 years in manufacturing, and strong skills in SolidWorks and PLC programming. Lean Six Sigma knowledge is advantageous for process excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in specification review and project implementation under guidance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate manufacturing processes through research and design, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.
• Develop and refine manufacturing methods by studying product requirements and collaborating with equipment vendors.
• Enhance manufacturing efficiency by analyzing workflows, space utilization, and equipment layout.
• Ensure product and process quality by designing and executing testing methods, establishing standards, and validating manufacturing processes.
• Provide decision-making data by calculating production, labor, and material costs, and forecasting future requirements.
• Prepare detailed reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing trends and performance data.
• Lead the development and maintenance of process documentation including FMEA and Control Plans.

The Role: Electrical Engineer (Mid-Level)

As a Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in driving operational efficiency within a highly regulated and complex production environment. You will optimize existing processes, implement new ones, and ensure production goals are consistently met. This includes monitoring equipment performance, resolving issues that impact product quality or yield, and applying engineering principles to develop innovative solutions. You will also leverage project management methodologies and Kaizen philosophies to lead process and system improvements.

What You’ll Do:

What We Seek:

Bachelor’s degree in Electronic & Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience in specification review and project implementation under guidance.

Proficiency in SolidWorks, PLC programming, or similar tools.

Proven expertise in electrical/electronic system design and development.

Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and machine processes.

Experience in high-volume manufacturing and semiconductor systems is a plus.

Ability to manage projects, perform analysis, and deliver structured reports.

Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.

Strong computer literacy and software proficiency.

Adaptable, quick learner, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.

Experience with design and process FMEA is a plus.

Capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
