Job summary

ENTEGRIS ( M ) Sdn Bhd in Kedah seeks a mid-level Electrical Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes and lead Kaizen-driven improvements in a regulated environment. You will design, test, and validate processes while collaborating with vendors and cross-functional teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s in Electronic & Electrical Engineering, at least 3 years in manufacturing, and strong skills in SolidWorks and PLC programming. Lean Six Sigma knowledge is advantageous for process excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in specification review and project implementation under guidance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate manufacturing processes through research and design, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.
• Develop and refine manufacturing methods by studying product requirements and collaborating with equipment vendors.
• Enhance manufacturing efficiency by analyzing workflows, space utilization, and equipment layout.
• Ensure product and process quality by designing and executing testing methods, establishing standards, and validating manufacturing processes.
• Provide decision-making data by calculating production, labor, and material costs, and forecasting future requirements.
• Prepare detailed reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing trends and performance data.
• Lead the development and maintenance of process documentation including FMEA and Control Plans.
