Job summary

Frencken Mechatronics Malaysia is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering team. You will translate customer requirements into manufacturing processes, support new product assembly, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided; you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and adherence to standards on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Internship experience in manufacturing or engineering will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review customer drawings and specifications and translate into BOMs and manufacturing work processes.
• Prepare and maintain assembly documentation, process flow, and manufacturing requirements.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during assembly and production.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Develop, review, and maintain SOPs, WI, and process documentation.
• Support process standardization and knowledge transfer for consistent practices.
• Assist in implementing engineering changes and process improvements.
• Ensure activities comply with quality standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
