Job summary

Unisearch Services Pte Ltd is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Industrial Automation) to lead component selection, commissioning, and related tasks across APAC and LATAM. The role requires hands-on PLC/robot programming and on-site support.

You will create project documentation, user manuals, and training materials, while collaborating with global clients. Travel-heavy position demands bilingual Chinese/English and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in configuring, teaching, programming, debugging, and maintaining robots (FANUC / ABB).
• Experienced with simulation software and using data for on-site robot debugging and teaching.
• Capable of electrical schematic design with AutoCAD or EPLAN and electrical commissioning.
• Good teamwork, communication, travel-ready with 80% travel.
• Hands-on, independent thinking, problem-solving and high responsibility.
• Proficient with PLCs (Mitsubishi, Omron, Panasonic, Siemens, Keyence, Beckhoff) or strong in at least one.
• Proficient with HMIs/touchscreens (Weinview/Weintek, Mitsubishi, MCGS, XINJE).

Job Requirements:

• 1. Major in Mechatronics or related fields, Bachelor's degree or above, with 2+ years of relevant
• 2. Proficient in configuration, teaching, programming, debugging, and maintenance of robots such as FANUC and ABB.
• 3. Proficient in using simulation software and applying simulation data for on-site robot debugging and teaching.
• 4. Master the principles and knowledge of electrical components; capable of electrical schematic design using AutoCAD or EPLAN, as well as electrical commissioning.
• 5. Good teamwork spirit and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to travel requirements.
• 6. Strong hands-on ability, clear thinking, good at independent thinking and problem-solving, with strong adaptability and a high sense of responsibility.
• 7. Proficient in using PLCs such as Mitsubishi, Omron, Panasonic, Siemens, Keyence, or Beckhoff, or highly proficient in at least one small-to-medium or large PLC brand.
• 8. Proficient in using touchscreens/HMIs such as Weinview (Weintek), Mitsubishi, MCGS, or XINJE, or highly proficient in at least one brand.

Key requirements:

• 1) Effectively bilingual Chinese and English
• 2) Able to travel 80% to China, Thailand, Mexico (most client base)
• 3) Electrical + PLC Programming exp
• 4) Exp min 2-3 years
