Job summary

Anson Contracting Sdn Bhd is seeking a Diploma/Degree student in Electrical Engineering or related field to support document management and site documentation on construction projects in Johor Bahru.

You will organize drawings, reports, logs, permits, and testing records; maintain filing systems; coordinate materials delivery; assist in inspections and sign-offs; and support audits to ISO standards, working closely with engineers and contractors on-site.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Document Management: Manage and organize project documents including drawings, reports, logs, permits, and testing records.
• Maintain electronic and physical filing systems with proper version control and naming conventions.
• Ensure all documents are accurately filed, easily retrievable, and securely stored.
• Site Support & Material Management: Prepare and compile reports for site activities as required.
• Coordinate the arrival of materials at site - check and document delivery orders, material certificates, and inspection reports.
• Assist in material inspection and mock-up - ensure materials received match specifications and maintain proper records.
• Support installation inspection and sign-off - collect and file inspection forms, sign-off sheets, and related documentation.
• Manage test reports - collect, review for completeness, and file all testing documentation.
• Track and follow up on outstanding test reports with engineers and contractors.
• Ensure all testing documentation is properly signed off and archived before project handover.
• Audit & Compliance: Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and complete documentation in a timely manner.
• Ensure all documentation complies with project quality standards and ISO requirements.
• General: Liaise with engineers, contractors, and project teams on-site to collect and verify documents.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
