Job summary

A leading electrical engineering firm in Petaling Jaya is seeking a qualified candidate to support project documentation and conduct Factory Acceptance Tests for clients. Applicants should have a Diploma or Degree in Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in Electrical & Electronic equipment. This role also values fresh graduates ready to start their careers. Candidates must demonstrate strong organizational and analytical skills while collaborating with various teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years working experience with Electrical & Electronic / Substation Equipment.
• Experience with Contractors, M&E Consultants, or Utilities is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support project-factory process.
• Prepare relevant project documentation.
• Conduct regular Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for products with clients.
• Follow up on meetings with management to track documentation timelines.
• Work with Senior Engineer to plan assembly processes.
• Perform other adhoc tasks as required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Automation) or equivalent
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is an advantage

Role

• Support project-factory process
• Prepare relevant project documentations
• Conduct regular Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for Products with Clients & Utilities such as Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). Possible review audits to make sure information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Manual follow up on meetings with management and team to get an expected schedule for all pending documents. Keep track of timeliness of documentation from project/tender
• Work with Senior Engineer to plan/ prepare relevant assembly process with regards to information from tender/ projects team
• Other Adhoc tasks by team leader and management.
