Perunding J N Sham Sdn Bhd invites you to join our M&E consultancy as an Electrical Engineer. You will design, coordinate, and oversee electrical building services across commercial, residential, and industrial projects in Kuala Lumpur and beyond.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 3–5 years of hands-on M&E experience, proficient in AutoCAD and Dialux, and capable of delivering high-quality drawings, specifications, and tender documents on time.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on experience in an M&E engineering consultancy environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
• Solid understanding of local electrical supply authority requirements, building codes, and safety standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle project deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Design detailed electrical layouts and single-line diagrams.
• Draft 2D/3D electrical layouts using AutoCAD and coordinate clashes.
• Prepare technical specifications, BOQ, and tender documents; assist in bid evaluations.
• Conduct site visits to ensure installation aligns with designs and standards.
• Coordinate and submit drawings and documentation to authorities and utility providers for approvals.

We are looking for a practical, detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our M&E consultancy team. You will design, coordinate, and oversee electrical building services (power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems) across a range of commercial, residential, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• 1) Design & Calculation: Create detailed electrical layouts, power distribution single-line diagrams, lighting calculations, and ELV system.
• 2) Engineering Drafting: Draft and coordinate 2D/3D electrical layouts using AutoCAD to avoid structural and mechanical clashes.
• 3) Project & Tender Support: Prepare technical specifications, bill of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents, and assist in evaluating contractor bids.
• 4) Site Inspection: Conduct site visits to ensure installation and construction work align with approved engineering designs, local utility guidelines, and quality standards.
• 5) Authority Submissions: Coordinate and submit electrical drawings and documentation to local authorities and utility providers for statutory approvals.

Requirements

• 1) Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent recognized degree).
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in an M&E engineering consultancy environment.
• 2) Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Dialux (lighting simulation), and standard electrical calculation tools.
• 3) Standards & Regulations: Solid understanding of local electrical supply authority requirements, building codes, and safety standards.
• 4) Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to handle project deadlines effectively.
