BigHire in Malaysia (Petaling Jaya, Selangor) is seeking an M&E Engineer to design, oversee and install mechanical and electrical systems across projects. You will collaborate with consultants and the project management team to integrate M&E into the construction plan and conduct site inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.

You will troubleshoot issues, provide technical support, maintain records, and support energy management initiatives including monthly client reports.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2 years of experience as an M&E Engineer in the construction industry; fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or Revit.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems including HVAC, Fire Protection, Plumbing & Sanitary, Lift & Escalator, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in using CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
• Willing to travel outstation/overseas for works.
• Familiar with relevant building codes and regulations.
• Casual dress code, medical insurance, paid training and development, and medical leave.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proficiency with engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD or Revit).
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, Fire Protection, Plumbing & Sanitary, Lift & Escalator, and electrical systems
• Proficiency in using CAD software and other relevant engineering tools
• Eagerness to learn and develop within theM&E consultancy fieldunder the guidance of senior engineers.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the project management team and construction crew
• Familiar with relevant building codes and regulations
• Willing to travel outstation/ oversea for works.
