Job summary

SJ Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and oversee installation of building services in line with client specifications. You will prepare design documents, evaluate tenders, and review shop drawings for compliance while managing building services contracts.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering, 2+ years' experience across HVAC, fire, plumbing and related systems, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a BEM recognized University.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant design and site installation experience across listed M&E systems.
• Knowledge in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM and related engineering design software.
• Experience in M&E consulting engineering is preferred.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Willingness to work at outstation when required.

Job Specification

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a BEM recognized University.
• A minimum 2 years of the relevant experience in design and site installation of air-conditioning & mechanical ventilation system, fire-fighting system, water plumbing & sanitary system, lift system, compressed air system, building management system, liquified petroleum gas system and etc.
• Knowledge in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM and Engineering Design software will be an added advantage.
• Experience in M&E consulting engineering company will be preferred.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Must be willing to work in outstation, whenever required
