UST Malaysia is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and support electrical control systems and automation solutions in Bayan Lepas, Penang. You’ll work on PLC programming, control panels, and machine safety circuits.

Responsibilities include creating schematics and wiring diagrams, performing power calculations, and ensuring compliance with UL508A/NFPA standards. You’ll collaborate with mechanical, software, and project teams to validate installations and support customers.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Electronics or mechatronics required.
• 4–7 years of experience in electrical panel design or control systems.
• Hands-on PLC programming and machine safety circuit experience.
• Familiarity with UL508A, NFPA70, NFPA79, SEMI standards is preferred.

Hands-on experience with PLC programming, control panels, safety circuits, and industrial automation equipment. Strong knowledge of electrical calculations, power distribution, instrumentation, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with UL508A, NFPA70, NFPA79, SEMI standards, and EMC/EMI design practices is preferred. Experience in system integration, commissioning, and equipment validation is an advantage.

• Knowledge of EMC/EMI design principles, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in electrical design tools (e.g., EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or equivalent).
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering teams.
