Pekat E&LP Sdn Bhd seeks a drafts person to create and manage drawings libraries for preliminary design, shop drawings and as-built drawings. You will provide CAD support to Design and Project Engineers and assist with amendments as needed to maintain accuracy and standards.

Responsibilities include developing shop drawings from design input, updating the drawings library, and ensuring precision. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and related software is required, with knowledge of solar/earthing

• 2–3 years of related drafting experience
• Proficient in CAD drafting and design development
• Familiar with office drawing standards and library management

A drafts person creates technical drawings used in planning, manufacturing and construction.

Duties and Responsibilities

Create and manage drawings library for preliminary design, shop drawing and as-built drawing

Provide CAD supports to Design and Project Engineers

Assist with drawings amendments when required

Develop Shop Drawings based on Design Engineers input

Adding new products into library and integrate with office drawing standards

Ensuring all works produced are to set standards with precision

Design plans using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software

Work under the supervision of engineers

Simulation using SketchUp and Helioscope

Skills Required

Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and relevant software

Able to work independently with minimum supervision

Good technical understanding of drawings to perform AutoCAD drafting work

Strong organizational and analytical skills

Confident with numbers and graphic representation

Have some knowledge on solar system/ earthing and lightning and related fields of engineering

Qualifications

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma or Advance Diploma in Design, AutoCAD or related discipline

Minimum 2 -3 years experience in related field
