Job summary

Pekat E&LP Sdn Bhd seeks a drafts person to create and manage drawings libraries for preliminary design, shop drawings and as-built drawings. You will provide CAD support to Design and Project Engineers and assist with amendments as needed to maintain accuracy and standards.

Responsibilities include developing shop drawings from design input, updating the drawings library, and ensuring precision. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and related software is required, with knowledge of solar/earthing

Qualifications

2–3 years of related drafting experience
Proficient in CAD drafting and design development
Familiar with office drawing standards and library management

Responsibilities

Create and manage drawings library for preliminary design, shop drawing and as-built drawing
Provide CAD supports to Design and Project Engineers
Assist with drawings amendments when required
Develop Shop Drawings based on Design Engineers input
Add new products into library and integrate with office drawing standards
Ensure all drawings meet established standards with precision
Design plans using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software
Work under the supervision of engineers
Simulate using SketchUp and Helioscope
