Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an engineer to design and develop electrical and control systems for high-speed automated machines. The role involves evaluating electrical components, motor tuning, and providing hardware troubleshooting support to customers.

You will prepare wiring diagrams, checklists, DCN, SOPs, and user manuals while maintaining a tidy lab with strict 5S practices. Collaboration with the team and willingness to take on new challenges are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics with second upper class or above.
• Proficiency in Solidworks/Draftsight is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities, capable of independent work.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical & control systems for high-speed automated machines.
• Evaluate electrical components and collect data for analysis.
• Calibrate motors and collect performance data.
• Provide electrical hardware troubleshooting and customer support for machines.
• Prepare engineering documentation including wiring diagrams, checklists, DCN, SOP, user manuals and guidelines.
• Maintain lab tools & equipment with 5S discipline.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned to ensure timely project closure.

Design and develop electrical & control system for high speed automated machines

Perform electrical components evaluation and data collection

Perform motor tuning and data collection

Provide machine electrical hardware troubleshooting and support

Prepare engineering documentation including wiring diagram, checklists, DCN, SOP, user manual and guidelines

Manage and keep all lab tools & equipment clean and tidy (5S)

Undertake other duties and responsibilities, which may be assigned by the Company from time to time, ensuring timely and complete closure

Job Requirements

• Degree in Engineering in Electronics/ Electrical/ Mechatronics with second upper class or above
• Proficiency in Solidworks/Draftsight is an added advantage
