Job summary

IOB INCS SDN BHD, Klang, Malaysia, is seeking a dynamic ICT & Electrical Application Engineer to provide technical support, perform electrical and ICT design tasks from concept to commissioning, and ensure successful project delivery.

You will create schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and interface with ICT equipment while ensuring compliance with standards and working with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Proficient in CAD software for electrical/ICT design.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new design tools and technologies.
• Willing to travel as required by projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide product-related technical support to clients.
• Perform electrical design engineering from concept to detailed design and calculations.

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented ICT & Electrical Application Engineer to join our team. This role involves providing technical support, executing electrical and ICT design tasks, and ensuring successful project delivery from concept to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide product-related technical support to clients as needed
• Perform electrical design engineering, including concept development, detailed design, technical reports, and engineering calculations
• Prepare ICT deliverables such as schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, panel arrangements, cable block diagrams, and multicore cable schedules for telecommunication panels
• Interface with ICT equipment including USDH, teleprotection systems, SCADA devices, and related technologies
• Ensure designs comply with relevant authority requirements, client specifications, and international standards and codes
• Manage projects to meet agreed specifications, timelines, and quality expectations
• Advise on and resolve technical issues during site installation and testing phases
• Assist and supervise commissioning activities to ensure smooth project handover

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
• Proficient in CAD software for electrical and ICT design
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Willingness to learn new design tools and technologies
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
• Highly adaptable, self‑motivated, and a collaborative team player
• Willing to travel as required by project assignments
