Job summary

The role requires close collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Instrumentation, Mechanical, and Project teams to follow standards and company procedures; responsibilities include reviewing drawings, troubleshooting, and coordinating with contractors while adhering to HSSE, QA/QC, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent.
• Experience in electrical engineering, maintenance, commissioning, or industrial operations is advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, specifications, and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for electrical engineering, maintenance, and project activities.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor electrical maintenance, inspection, testing, and repair works.
• Support troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, panels, and distribution systems.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, procedures, datasheets, and technical documentation.
• Assist in identifying electrical faults and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Support electrical testing, commissioning, and functional checks of equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with contractors and service providers to ensure works meet requirements.
• Monitor progress, quality, and compliance with procedures and specifications.
• Prepare and maintain technical reports, maintenance records, and relevant documentation.
• Support equipment reliability, energy efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job description

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Electrical Engineer to support electrical engineering, maintenance, and project activities. The role will provide technical support for electrical systems and equipment, troubleshooting, maintenance, and engineering projects to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Project, and other technical teams to ensure electrical activities are completed in accordance with applicable standards, regulatory requirements, and Company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support for electrical engineering, maintenance, and project activities.

Plan, coordinate, and monitor electrical maintenance, inspection, testing, and repair works.

Support the troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, panels, and distribution systems.

Review electrical drawings, specifications, procedures, datasheets, and technical documentation.

Assist in identifying electrical faults and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

Support electrical testing, commissioning, and functional checks of equipment and systems.

Coordinate with contractors and service providers to ensure electrical works are completed according to approved requirements.

Monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with approved procedures and specifications.

Prepare and maintain technical reports, maintenance records, work scopes, and relevant electrical documentation.

Support electrical equipment reliability, energy efficiency, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Ensure electrical activities comply with HSSE, QA/QC, regulatory, and Company requirements.

Participate in site inspections, technical meetings, commissioning, and project coordination activities.

Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

Degree in Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent qualification.

Experience in electrical engineering, maintenance, commissioning, or industrial operations will be an advantage.

Good understanding of electrical systems, equipment, distribution systems, and maintenance practices.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, specifications, and technical documents.

Knowledge of electrical testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.

Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational and coordination skills.

Able to work independently and effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Willing to work at operational and project sites when required.
