Job summary

EXPRESS MISSION SDN. BHD. is seeking an Electrical/Project Engineer to design, implement and maintain electrical systems and power solutions across projects in Klang, Malaysia. You will collaborate with clients, contractors and suppliers to deliver safe, compliant and high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities include design reviews, site inspections, testing, commissioning and providing technical support from initiation to handover, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to project and client sites.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute electrical and power-related projects from design to completion.

Are you an Electrical / Project Engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges and seeing your work come to life?

As an Electrical /Project Engineer, you’ll be involved in the design, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems and power solutions. You’ll work closely with project teams, clients, contractors and suppliers to ensure engineering works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards.

What you’ll do

Design, review and prepare electrical systems, drawings, calculations and technical documentation.

Support the planning and execution of electrical and power-related projects from design through to completion.

Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during installation, testing and commissioning.

Troubleshoot electrical systems, equipment and power-related issues and recommend practical solutions.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers on technical requirements and project activities.

Prepare material specifications, equipment requirements, quotations and technical submissions.

Monitor project progress, quality, costs and compliance with approved specifications and standards.

Assist in testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of generators, electrical systems and related equipment.

Ensure all electrical works comply with applicable safety requirements, regulations and industry standards.

Prepare technical reports, service reports, progress updates and project documentation.

What you’ll bring

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

2–5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, power systems, project engineering or a related field.

Good knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, testing and troubleshooting.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical specifications.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and relevant engineering software.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Good project coordination and organisational skills with attention to detail.

Willingness to travel to project and client sites when required.

Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
