Job summary

V&V ENGINEERING SDN BHD is offering an Electrical & Aircond Apprentice position to support electrical installation works and air-conditioning maintenance across commercial, industrial and building M&E projects. You will learn under experienced technicians on-site, gaining hands-on skills in electrical and HVAC installation, servicing and preventive maintenance.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. No working experience required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM/SKM/Certificate in Electrical, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, HVAC, M&E or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical installation works
• Assist with installation of lighting, switches, sockets, power points and electrical accessories
• Assist with cable pulling, cable dressing, cable tray/conduit installation and termination works
• Assist in basic electrical wiring and troubleshooting under supervision
• Assist HVAC/Aircond Technician with installation, servicing and maintenance of air-conditioning systems
• Assist in installation of aircond units, copper piping, drainage piping and insulation
• Assist with refrigerant piping, cable connection and basic aircond installation works under supervision
• Help carry out cleaning, servicing and preventive maintenance of air-conditioning units
• Follow instructions from Site Supervisor, Technician and Project Engineer and comply with PPE and site safety requirements at all times
• Assist with loading, unloading and moving tools/materials at the work site

Job description

This is an Electrical & Aircond Apprentice position supporting electrical installation works and air-conditioning systems maintenance across commercial, industrial and building M&E projects. You will work under supervision of experienced technicians and site supervisors, gaining practical skills in both electrical and HVAC installation, servicing and maintenance.

Key responsibilities

Assist Wireman, Electrical Technician and Site Supervisor in electrical installation works
