Job summary

V&V ENGINEERING SDN BHD is seeking a hands-on HVAC technician to install, service, troubleshoot and repair air-conditioning and HVAC systems. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance and on-site servicing in various project environments.

Candidates should have a relevant qualification (SPM/Certificate/Diploma in HVAC or Mechanical), be able to work at height, physically fit, and able to work independently or in a team, with fresh graduates encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and fixing HVAC systems is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.

Job description

Install, service, troubleshoot and repair air-conditioning and HVAC systems. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, conduct servicing, cleaning and inspection. Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and handle installation of units, piping, ducting and related equipment.

Handle installation of aircond units, piping, ducting and related equipment

Perform site inspection and attend to maintenance issues

Ensure work is completed according to project requirements and safety standards

Assist the project team with other M&E works when required

Maintain proper tools, equipment and work areas

About you

Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in HVAC, Air-Conditioning, Mechanical or related field

Experience in air-conditioning or HVAC works is an advantage

Able to troubleshoot and perform basic electrical work

Willing to work at project sites, including outdoor/hot environments

Physically fit and able to work at height when required

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Good working attitude, responsible and punctual
