Job summary

GAOCE MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. seeks an experienced EHS Leader to establish and optimize the integrated EHS management system covering production safety, hazardous chemicals control, and environmental protection. You will manage licenses, liaise with authorities, and drive safety training to reduce on-site risks.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in manufacturing EHS, familiar with local regulations, and certification in fire safety and safety management; Mandarin skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related fields.
• At least 3 years of EHS management experience in manufacturing.
• Familiar with local safety and environmental regulations.
• Capable of independently managing hazardous chemicals and occupational health systems.
• Local fire safety supervisor certificate and safety management personnel post certificate preferred.
• Mandarin language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

System Development: Lead the establishment and improvement of the company's integrated EHS management system, formulate management systems and operating procedures related to production safety, hazardous chemicals control, environmental protection and occupational health, supervise implementation, and continuously optimize the management system.

Compliance Management: Maintain relationships with local emergency, environmental protection and other government authorities, be fully responsible for the application, modification and annual review of EHS-related licenses and registration documents, and ensure full legal compliance of business operations.

Emergency & Training: Develop special and comprehensive emergency plans and organize regular emergency drills; coordinate regular training on safety, environmental protection and occupational health to enhance employees' safety awareness and reduce on-site operation risks.

Policy & Risk Control: Dynamically track changes in local EHS laws, regulations and industrial policies, adjust internal control strategies according to production status, implement compliance rectification, and effectively avoid operational risks related to safety, environmental protection and occupational health.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or above in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related fields;

Work Experience: At least 3 years of overall EHS management experience in manufacturing, familiar with local safety and environmental regulations, capable of independently managing hazardous chemicals and establishing & operating occupational health systems;

Certifications: Hold local fire safety supervisor certificate and safety management personnel post certificate; candidates with GHS special training qualification are preferred;

Preferred Qualifications: Familiar with properties and usage specifications of industrial chemicals, practical experience in government licensing, filing and annual review is preferred; fluent Mandarin communication is preferred.
