Job summary

EVE ENERGY MALAYSIA SDN BHD seeks an experienced EHS professional to lead risk assessment, risk control, and safety programs across our industrial operations in Malaysia. You will build and mentor safety teams, train supervisors, engineers and safety officers, manage temporary fire brigades, and drive leadership in safety across all levels of management.

The role oversees emergency planning, inspections, and compliance with ISO standards, and requires close coordination with government agencies

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in environmental protection, chemistry or related majors; 8+ years EHS experience; Green Book and Mykkp certification.
• Familiar with environmental/safety/fire protection/occupational health laws and regulations; enterprise safety management system.
• Knowledge of waste water, waste gas, solid waste, hazardous waste and noise control.
• Good relationships with government ministries such as Bomba and DOSH.
• More than 2 years of team management experience.

Job description

Carry out risk assessment and risk control in combination with external requirements and internal actual conditions.

Team building

Establish professional safety forces in the industry line, train safety supervisors, engineers and safety officers;

Manage part-time fire brigades and arrange annual training;

Promote the construction of safety leadership in management departments at all levels.

Safety training

Identify EHS training requirements, formulate annual training plans, organize training and continuously verify the training results.

Safety inspection

Formulate an annual safety inspection plan, organize implementation and promote rectification to form a closed-loop management.

Emergency management

Organize the preparation of emergency plans, formulate annual emergency drill plans, evaluate the drill results and continuously improve.

Establish and operate a safety production standardization (three-level) management system;

Promote EHS special management, including fire household registration management, special equipment standard management, hazardous waste standard management, occupational health monitoring, etc.;

Operate in advance in accordance with the requirements of ISO9001,, ISO14001, ISO45001 to prepare for certification and customer audits

Requirements:

Bachelor degree or above in environmental protection, chemistry or other related majors, more than 8 years EHS working experience, with Green Book and Mykkp certification.

Familiar with environmental/safety/fire protection/occupational health laws and regulations, enterprise safety management system, and chemical safety management knowledge

Familiar with waste water, waste gas, solid waste, hazardous waste and noise control and so on.

Good relationship with relevant government ministries such as Bomba and Dosh and so on.
