The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in EHS, solid knowledge of OSHA regulations, and strong documentation and communication skills to drive continuous improvement and a safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2–3 years of EHS or safety coordination experience.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian OSHA regulations.
• Proficient in risk assessment and hazard identification.
• Excellent documentation and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

About the role

EPG Data Center Module Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an EHS Coordinator to join our team in Senai, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our manufacturing and logistics operations. The EHS Coordinator will be responsible for promoting, monitoring and maintaining health, safety and environmental standards across our facilities. This role is integral to protecting our workforce, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting our commitment to operational excellence and sustainable business practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain health, safety and environmental policies and procedures across all operational areas
• Conduct regular inspections, audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and safety concerns
• Prepare and maintain accurate EHS documentation, records and reports for regulatory compliance and internal tracking
• Organise and deliver health and safety training programmes to employees at all levels
• Investigate workplace incidents, accidents and near-misses, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions
• Monitor environmental compliance, including waste management, emissions and resource conservation initiatives
• Collaborate with operational teams to develop and promote a strong safety culture throughout the organisation
• Maintain liaison with regulatory authorities and support the company during inspections and compliance audits
• Compile and analyse EHS data to produce reports and identify trends for continuous improvement
• Ensure all personal protective equipment (PPE) is properly maintained and available to staff

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related discipline
• 2-3 years of experience in an EHS or safety coordination role, preferably within manufacturing, logistics or industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian health and safety regulations, including the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA)
• Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and hazard identification techniques
• Excellent documentation and report-writing skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels and translate technical requirements into practical guidelines
• Strong organisational and project management abilities to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis tools
• Certification in OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 or other relevant EHS credentials is highly desirable
• Demonstrated commitment to promoting workplace safety and environmental responsibility
