Job summary

Hirehub Group in Senai, Johor is seeking an EHS Manager to develop and implement environmental, health, and safety policies in compliance with local regulations and global standards.

The role involves ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 system implementation, audits, and training to staff across functions, with a focus on continuous improvement of safety practices and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in EHS implementation and management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to conduct training and collaborate across functions and with external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in managing and tracking safety data using computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies covering fire protection, environmental, chemical safety, and security in compliance with local regulations, codes, and global corporate standards.
• Implement and manage ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems, including audits, documentation, and employee training.
• Plan and execute environmental and chemical safety programs, conduct internal safety audits, and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Continuously monitor and improve general safety practices, PPE compliance, and workplace safety performance.
• Oversee security operations, prepare work plans, monitor performance, and manage security-related risks. Develop, implement, and maintain emergency response plans for safety and security incidents.

Job Responsibilities
