Job summary

Aquajaya Resource in Malaysia is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) professional to assist in daily safety inspections, hazard identification and risk assessments. You will help organize safety trainings, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns while maintaining PPE inventory.

You will support incident reporting and investigations, emergency planning and drills, and ensure DOE/DOSH compliance with proper documentation.

• Assist in conducting daily safety inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
• Help organize and facilitate safety training, toolbox meetings, and awareness campaigns.
• Maintain safety equipment and PPE inventory.
• Support incident/accident reporting, investigation, and corrective action tracking.
• Assist in emergency response planning and drills.
• Monitor scheduled waste management and ensure proper labeling, storage, and disposal.
• Support effluent sampling, air quality, and noise level monitoring as required.
• Ensure compliance with DOE requirements and maintain related documentation.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, or annual environmental reports to authorities (e.g., DOE, DOSH).

Management Systems & Audits

• Maintain EHS documentation according to ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and company policies.
• Assist in internal audits, corrective/preventive action tracking, and closing NCRs.
• Support external audits (e.g., ISO certification audits, DOE/DOSH inspections, and RBA audits).
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure compliance with customer EHS and CSR requirements.
