Job summary

Lam Research in Kulim, Kedah invites an experienced EHS Engineer to develop and monitor environmental safety programs. You will ensure regulatory compliance, lead risk assessments, and coordinate with regulators while improving life safety and ergonomics across operations.

You'll implement ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, oversee training, and conduct audits. This role emphasizes a collaborative safety culture and ongoing improvement within a fast-moving semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Environmental, Occupational health & safety or comparable scientific discipline required.
• 3-7 years of EHS work experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in ISO14001, ISO45001 and Responsible Business Alliances (RBA) management system.
• Construction and Contractors Safety experience with an injury-free mindset.
• Familiar with Hazardous Energy Control and Ergonomic Risk Assessment and Control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, planning and implementation of EHS policies and procedures to meet ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and RBA requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable EHS requirements and interact with regulatory bodies (DOE, DOSH, Fire Service) and Lam Global EHS.
• Coordinate Plant EHS training and ensure effectiveness in ergonomics, hazardous materials handling, fall protection and emergency response.
