Job summary

Lam Research in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to advance global environmental compliance and stewardship. You will partner with site EHS teams across Asia to drive regulatory adherence and continuous improvement of environmental programs.

The role covers environmental permitting, air emissions, waste management, ISO 14001, data collection for ESG reporting, and audits. You’ll lead cross-functional projects and mentor staff, ensuring safe and compliant operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
8+ years of relevant experience in environmental compliance and management.
Experience with regulatory due diligence, audits, and cross-site programs.
Strong knowledge of air emissions, hazardous waste, wastewater, stormwater, and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

Ensure global environmental programs are implemented and monitored across Lam sites.
Assist in environmental data collection for ESG reporting and customer surveys.
Lead environmental audits, gap analyses, and corrective action tracking.
Support ISO 14001 compliance, risk assessment, and regulatory inspections.
Develop and maintain environmental standards, procedures, and compliance calendars.
Coordinate incident investigations and corrective action plans.
Provide training on environmental programs to site personnel.
