Job summary

Lam Research in Malaysia seeks an Occupational Health Program Manager to safeguard the physical and mental well-being of employees. You will lead health programs, oversee the in-house clinic, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across Lam’s operations in Batu Kawan.

The role requires a degree in Nursing or OH&S, 5–8 years of clinic management experience in manufacturing, and strong MS Office skills. Lam offers a hybrid work model with On-site Flex and Virtual Flex options.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor degree in Nursing, registered with Malaysia Nursing Board.
• Bachelor in Occupational Health & Safety Management or Bachelor in Medical Science.
• 5–8 years of experience managing in-house clinic in large manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain occupational health program per local and global requirements.
• Manage in-house clinic and first aid facilities; liaise with service providers for medical staffing.
• Develop and implement occupational health and medical surveillance procedures; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Carry out occupational health risk assessments and identify hazards.
• Coordinate health surveillance and occupational health screening programs.
• Manage return-to-work programs in collaboration with HR and supervisors.
• Liaise with local health department to prevent communicable diseases.
• Provide health education and wellness training to employees.
• Maintain records of incidents and health-related reports.
• Advise management on health impacts of work practices and environment.
• Coordinate employee support services and health promotion activities.
• Collaborate with EHS personnel for hygiene information and risk reports.
• Manage budget for occupational health services and evaluate programs.
