Job summary

Lam Research is seeking an Occupational Health Program Manager in Penang to safeguard employee wellness, lead in-house clinic operations, and ensure regulatory compliance across local and global OH standards. The role involves health surveillance, risk assessments, and health promotion initiatives.

You will collaborate with EHS, HR, and external agencies, oversee budgets, and drive continuous improvement of health services.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor degree in Nursing, registered with board of Nursing Malaysia or Bachelor in Occupational Health & Safety Management or Bachelor in Medical Science.
• 5 to 8 years of related experience in managing in-house clinic in large manufacturing sector.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and proficiency with MS Office tools.
• Well versed with Occupational Health Application System and local health acts/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and maintenance of occupational health program as per local legal requirement and global occupational health requirement.
• Manage in-house clinic and first aid facilities in the company, liaising with service providers to meet Lam's occupational health requirements.
• Developing and implementing occupational health and medical surveillance procedures and health management in accordance with regulations.
• Carrying out occupational health risk assessments and identifying potential hazards in the workplace.
• Coordinating and managing health surveillance and occupational health screening programs.
• Manage return to work programs and collaborate with HR Business Partners and supervisors.
• Liaising with local health departments to prevent communicable diseases.
• Providing health and wellness education and training to employees.
• Maintaining records of incidents and illnesses and related reports.
• Advising management on health impacts of work practices and environmental factors.
