Omnicom Media Asia Pacific is seeking an Associate Director of Ecommerce to lead end-to-end ecommerce strategy, performance, and growth across key client accounts. You will partner with clients to drive transformation and commercial success while directing internal ecommerce teams to deliver best-in-class execution.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, performance optimization across onsite and offsite channels, and capability building within the agency network.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in ecommerce, digital commerce, or marketplace management (agency or client side).
• Strong expertise in ecommerce platforms and marketplaces (Shopee, Lazada).
• Proven leadership experience managing ecommerce teams.
• Strong commercial acumen including budgets, scopes of work, and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of holistic ecommerce strategies across marketplaces, D2C platforms, and offsite media channels.
• Define 1–3 year growth roadmaps across categories, brands, and product portfolios.
• Drive thought leadership by presenting ecommerce trends and test-and-learn frameworks to clients.
• Own ecommerce scope of work, including commercial frameworks and profitability management.
• Lead ecommerce innovation through test-and-learn initiatives across marketplaces and offsite platforms.
• Build strong senior relationships with client stakeholders and lead strategic reviews.
• Mentor and upskill the ecommerce team and foster a high-performance culture.
