Job summary

myNews is seeking a Merchandising and E‑Commerce Coordinator to manage quick commerce channel listings, master product files, and monitor sales performance across GrabMart and other platforms.

You will handle procurement for telco and services categories, coordinate with key account managers and operations, generate sales reports, and support online promotions aligned with marketing campaigns.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of merchandising, e-commerce or related field.
• Proficient in Excel and reporting tools; strong English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Experience with GrabMart or quick commerce platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Quick Commerce & Platform Management: Manage quick commerce channel product listings, master product files (pricing, visuals and descriptions), and monitor sales performance across platforms.
• Category Procurement & PO Ordering: Handle end-to-end procurement for telco and services category, supplier coordination and delivery follow-ups.
• Stakeholder & Operational Liaison: Coordinate with account managers, outlet operations, warehouse and supply chain teams.
• Sales Reporting & Payment Administration: Generate daily, weekly and monthly sales reports and handle payment-related paperwork.
• Promotions & Digital Strategy: Plan and execute online promotions aligned with marketing campaigns.
• Ad-Hoc Projects: Support other ad-hoc projects as assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities

• Quick Commerce & Platform Management: Manage quick commerce channel product listings,master product files (pricing, visuals and descriptions), and monitor sales performance and productavailability across platforms like GrabMart and other e-commerce channels.
• Category Procurement & PO Ordering: Handle the end-to-end procurement process, specificallytelco and services category purchase order (PO) ordering, supplier coordination and deliveryfollow-ups.
• Stakeholder & Operational Liaison: Act as a key point of contact with key account managers, outletoperations, warehouse and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution, alignment betweenonline and offline merchandising, and timely stock replenishment.
• Sales Reporting & Payment Administration: Generate and analyse daily, weekly and monthly salesreports and merchandising performance metrics. Handle paperwork on payment-related matters basedon delegation of authority.
• Promotions & Digital Strategy: Plan and execute online promotions in alignment with marketingthemes and seasonal campaigns, supporting digital strategies that enhance the customer experienceand drive conversions.
• Ad-Hoc Projects: Manage and support other ad-hoc projects as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in merchandising, e-commerce or a related field.
• Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Experience with GrabMart or similar quick commerce / online platforms is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational, administrative and time management skills
