Job summary

Blue Water Shipping is seeking a Project Logistics Coordinator in Malaysia (Johor Bahru) on a 2-year contract. Based at a client site, you will coordinate inbound deliveries, monitor shipments, and ensure documentation is correct to support on-site assembly and operations.

The role requires strong coordination with freight forwarders, suppliers, and site teams, with a focus on timely deliveries, risk management, and clear reporting to the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in freight forwarding or logistics
• Strong English communication
• Organized with attention to detail
• Ability to work under time pressure
• Willingness to travel

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound deliveries to site and ensure on-time delivery
• Monitor shipment status from origin to final delivery
• Liaise with freight forwarders and vendors on schedules
• Maintain delivery trackers and milestone reporting
• Coordinate with site construction on delivery sequencing
• Ensure shipping documents are in order and assist customs where applicable
• Provide daily/weekly logistics status updates to Project Manager
