Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Technical Drafting: Produce precise architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and details.

Arkitek XY Sdn. Bhd., based in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman to join our team. The role involves preparing technical drawings and supporting architectural projects, with opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

– Technical Drafting:
Produce precise architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and details using industry-standard drafting software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

– Design & Documentation Support:
Work closely with architects to translate design concepts into detailed construction drawings and documentation.

– Coordination of Drawings:
Ensure drawings are well‑coordinated with consultants (C&S, M&E, etc.) and resolve discrepancies to maintain consistency across all project documentation.

– Site & Measurement Work:
Conduct site measurements, prepare as-built drawings, and support the team in verifying construction progress and compliance with drawings.

– Documentation Management:
Maintain organized drawing records, revisions, and file structures for efficient project workflow.

Requirements

• -Bachelor's degree in Architecture (Part 2 LAM recognized) or equivalent qualification will be advantageous.
• -2 years of experience in an architectural firm or construction site (preferred).
• -Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software like Lumion or V-Ray; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.

• -Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainable design principles.
