Job summary

AM Steel Enterprise SDN. BHD. seeks a versatile Drafter & Machine Operator to support our fabrication operations.

You will read technical designs, prepare precise 2D/3D shop drawings, and operate CNC, laser cutting, bending, or punching machinery to fabricate high-quality steel products. The role combines drafting expertise with hands-on machine operation, requiring you to ensure drawings match shop floor capabilities and to maintain accurate records of material usage and production output.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in technical drafting and machine operation in steel fabrication or manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and mathematical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D/3D shop drawings using AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Review blueprints and dimensions before production.
• Operate CNC, laser cutting, bending or punching machines.
• Coordinate drawings with production to ensure feasibility on shop floor.
