Job summary

EMT SYSTEMS SDN BHD is seeking a skilled draftsman/designer in Penang to prepare 2D/3D drawings, layout plans and fabrication drawings for racking and steel structures. You will assist with customized design based on customer and site requirements and conduct site measurements when needed.

Coordinate with Sales, Project, Production and Installation teams, review drawings to meet safety/structural standards, and provide drafting support with deadlines. Immediate start is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Structural Engineering or related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
• Experience in racking, warehousing or steel structures is an advantage.
• Responsible, independent, detail-oriented and willing to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Possess own vehicle and willing to travel for site visits.
• Able to start immediately is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D/3D drawings, layout plans and fabrication drawings for racking and steel structures.
• Assist with customized racking and steel design based on customer and site requirements.
• Conduct site measurements when required.
• Review and update drawings according to project requirements.
• Coordinate with Sales, Project, Production and Installation teams.
• Ensure drawings meet safety, structural and company requirements.
• Provide design/drafting support and complete work within deadlines.
• Perform other duties assigned by Management.
