Job summary

Compart Systems Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. seeks a detail-oriented Drafter to prepare accurate 2D and 3D drawings for manufacturing based on designs, specs, and build-to-print requirements.

You will work with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure drawings meet standards, manufacturing needs, and project timelines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical/Manufacturing Drafting or related field.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply with strong drafting fundamentals.
• Proficient in CAD software and reading engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of GD&T and technical documentation is desirable.
• Experience with BOMs and revision control is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings based on build-to-print specifications.
• Interpret engineering designs, sketches, customer requirements, and technical information.
• Ensure drawings comply with customer specifications, industry standards, and company guidelines.
• Verify dimensions, materials, tolerances, and manufacturing requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to resolve design and drafting issues.
• Prepare and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) and supporting technical documents.
• Maintain proper documentation, drawing revisions, and version control.
• Deliver drawings and documentation according to production and project schedules.
• Support production and quality teams by providing drawing clarification and technical information.

Requirements

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other industry-standard CAD software.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical documentation.
