Job summary

Nakakumi Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Drafter to transform concepts into precise shop drawings and fabrication documents. You will work with project teams to ensure designs comply with regulatory guidelines and project timelines.

Key duties include preparing drawings in AutoCAD, managing BOMs, and coordinating with site teams to meet deadlines. Fresh graduates are welcome, with a Diploma/Certificate/Degree in Civil Engineering or related fields preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 2 years of drafting experience; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with accuracy in scaling and measurements.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for a skilled Drafter to transform initial concepts, sketches, and detailed shop drawings, material take-off and fabrication drawings. You will work closely with our project teams to ensure all designs comply with regulatory guidelines and project's timelines.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and update technical drawings using AutoCAD.

Work on bills of material and drawing within time frame.

Assist the project team with drawings and documentation.

Revise drawings based on site requirements and engineer's instructions.

Coordinate with project/site team when required.

Ensure drawings are accurate and submitted on time.

Compile design/work including procedures, calculations and etc.

About you

Possess a Certificate/Diploma/Degree/Bachelor in Civil Engineering, Civil Architecture, Drafting, or related field.

Minimum of 2 years of drafting experience.

Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.

Proficient in AutoCAD (other drafting software is an advantage).

Strong attention to detail with a firm grasp of scaling and dimensional accuracy.

Responsible, willing to learn and able to meet deadlines.
