Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia seeks a Civil/Structural Draftsman to prepare drawings using AutoCAD, including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, steel structures and reinforcement detailing, as well as earthworks, drainage and roadworks layouts.

Diploma or Certificate in Civil/Structural Engineering or Drafting required; AutoCAD proficiency essential with Rev it knowledge a plus. Independent work style and 3+ years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Drafting.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
• Able to prepare both civil and structural engineering drawings.
• Familiar with construction drawings and engineering detailing.
• Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural drawings including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, steel structures and reinforcement detailing.
• Prepare civil engineering drawings including earthworks, drainage, sewerage, roadworks and infrastructure layouts.
• Revise and update drawings based on engineers' instructions, design changes and site requirements.
• Coordinate drawings with architects, M&E consultants and other project disciplines.
• Prepare drawings for authority submissions, tender and construction purposes.
• Ensure drawings comply with engineering design requirements, relevant standards and company drafting practices.
• Maintain proper drawing records, revisions and document control.
• Assist engineers in resolving drawing discrepancies and technical coordination issues.
• Perform other drafting and project-related duties as assigned by the engineer.

Key responsibilities

About you
