Job summary

Engreen is seeking a qualified Drafting Technician in Malaysia to prepare M&E shop drawings for submission and ensure all drawings meet regulatory and ISO 9001:2015 standards. You will maintain organized records on the Office Server and translate project needs into precise AutoCAD and 3D drawings.

You will support Project Engineers and Managers, analyse drawing issues, conduct site visits, and produce technical documents such as inspection and outage reports.

Qualifications

• Asset drafting for M&E projects with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret design requirements and produce precise drawings.
• Experience coordinating with engineers and architects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare M&E shop drawings for submission.
• Ensure drawings comply with ISO 9001:2015 and regulatory standards.
• Maintain records of drawings on the Office Server with standardized filing.

To prepare M&E shop drawings for submission

To ensure all drawings comply with regulatory and quality standards, including ISO 9001:2015.

To maintain a comprehensive record of incoming and outgoing drawings, organizing them in the Office Server using a standardized filing system.

To draft Electrical & Mechanical engineering drawing in AutoCAD & 3D.

Assist Project Engineer and Project Manager in understanding the project needs and transform those inputs into the drawing

Analyse any drawing issues or clashing and highlight to the relevant personnel

Prepare technical documents such as inspection and outage reports.

Conduct site visits, communicate effectively with clients and project teams.

Key Requirements

• Possess Associate Degree or Technical certification in Drafting or related field.
• Experienced working in construction industry is must especially M&E
• 1 - 3 years of relevant drafting experience is preferred.
• Attention to Detail: Precision and accuracy in creating technical drawings with meticulous attention in detail.
• Communication: Effective communication skills to understand design requirements and covey technical information.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and address potential issues in design drawings.
• Collaboration: Team-oriented mind-set to work effectively with engineers, architects, and other team members.
