Job summary

Integrated Modern Environmental Control in George Town, Penang, is seeking a CAD drafting engineer to design, plan, and support engineering projects related to water, wastewater, and environmental systems. You will develop detailed drawings, perform technical analyses, and maintain project documentation using AutoCAD/SolidWorks.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of relevant drafting experience, strong CAD skills, and a degree in Civil/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant engineering design or drafting experience preferred.
• Proficiency with CAD tools (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) for drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and support engineering projects related to water, wastewater, and environmental systems.

2. Job Requirements

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

Working Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in engineering design or drafting, preferably in water, wastewater, or environmental system projects.
• Proven experience preparing technical drawings, feasibility studies, and project documentation.
• Experience providing on‑site technical support during installation, commissioning, or troubleshooting is preferred.

Technical Competencies

• Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks for drawing and schematic development.
• Strong technical analysis and calculation skills to support feasibility studies and project design.
• Ability to review and validate design documents for accuracy, compliance and constructability.
• Good understanding of water/wastewater/environmental engineering systems and applicable regulations.
• Organized documentation and version control practices for drawings and project files.
