Job summary

Organo in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to perform design work for water treatment systems, prepare CAD data, and produce related drawings. You will review specifications and generate piping drawings with supports, and ensure fabrication drawings for equipment, pipe racks, platforms, and pipe supports are accurate.

Candidate should hold a Diploma in engineering, have at least 3 years of experience, be proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office, and be familiar with Plant

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Plant 3D or PDMS is a plus.
• Knowledge of ANSI, ASME, JIS codes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design for water treatment systems.
• Design and prepare CAD data and related drawings to meet requirements.
• Review project specs to develop drawings.
• Design piping drawings including supports.
• Prepare fabrication drawings for equipment, pipe racks, platforms, and pipe supports.
• Prepare accurate Bills of Materials (MTO) for purchasing.
• Maintain quality standards and accurate drawings for fabrication and erection.
• Liaise with project team, engineers and clients.
• Support section documentation and drafting tasks.

• To perform mechanical design work of water treatment system which include: -
• To design and prepare CAD data, all related engineering drawings to meet corporate and customer's requirement.
• Reviewing project specifications and other data to develop related drawings.
• To design and prepare piping drawing including support.
• Able to prepare fabrication drawing of Equipment, Pipe Rack, Platform and pipe support.
• To prepare accurate Bill of Material (Material take off) for purchasing.
• Maintain quality standards and accurate drawings for fabrication and erection.
• Liaise with project team members, project engineers and clients for designing related engineering drawing.
• Support Planning & Design Section documentation work including drafting work requested by incumbent superior or Section Head.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in any engineering discipline or equivalent or higher.

Minimum 3 years related working experience.

Required skill(s): competent in Microsoft Office applications and proficient in AutoCAD is compulsory. Familiarity with 3D modelling tools such as Plant 3D or PDMS is added advantage.

Well-versed with ANSI, ASME, JIS and related codes/ standard.

Ability to meet deadlines.

Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Pleasant, outgoing personality & able to work under pressure.

Moderate travelling to site is required

PROFICIENT in AUTOCAD Plant 3D is a MUST.

Possess with own transport & valid driving license.

Full-time and Contract positions are available.
