Job summary

Kopi Kenangan in Malaysia seeks a sharp, detail-oriented Drafter for a 6-month contract in Petaling Jaya. You will work with Project Designers to convert interior design concepts into precise 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp.

The ideal candidate is a fresh graduate with a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture, fluent in English, and available for the full 6-month term. Prior F&B/Retail drafting internships are a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture required.
• Strong proficiency in 2D AutoCAD mandatory.
• Fresh graduates welcome; internship in F&B/Retail drafting beneficial.
• Fluent written and spoken English is expected.
• Fully available for the 6-month contract duration.

Responsibilities

• Convert interior 3D design into precise 2D technical drawings (Mechanical, Electrical, Furniture, etc.) using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Revise and update existing technical drawings based on live site feedback and requirement changes.
• Ensure drawings align with company standards, CAD layering conventions, local building codes and regulations.
• Maintain clear drawing registers and archives for project tracking.

• Bring Designs to Life: Convert interior 3D design into precise 2D technical drawings (Mechanical, Electrical, Furniture, etc.) using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
