Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Document Controller to support a major greenfield data center development in Serendah, Selangor. You will manage project documentation and ensure accurate control, distribution, and maintenance throughout the project lifecycle.

The successful candidate will maintain document integrity, version control, and compliance with project procedures while facilitating effective communication across client, consultants, contractors, and project teams.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of document control experience in construction/engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of document control processes and revision control.
• Experience with large-scale construction projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Manage receipt, registration, distribution, filing, and archiving of project docs.
• Maintain document registers and ensure version control for all documentation.
• Coordinate submission and tracking of drawings, RFIs, reports, and records.
• Ensure timely review, approval, and distribution to stakeholders.
• Maintain electronic and hard-copy filing systems and organize access.
• Monitor workflows and follow up with teams for timely responses.
• Support compliance with client document management standards.
• Generate reports, transmittals, and status updates.
• Assist with project close-out and archiving of as-built records.
