Job summary

CHEC CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN BHD is seeking a Document Controller to manage construction documents, records, and correspondence for the Construction Department. You will collect and archive project records, prepare daily progress reports, and handle WIRs via EDMS.

Fresh graduates are welcome, and Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred for Mandarin-speaking customers. The role supports the seamless administration of project documentation across multiple sites and requires a Diploma or higher as

Responsibilities

• Manage construction documents, records and correspondence for the Construction Department.
• Collect and categorize original construction records and related documents, and file soft copies.
• Raise and close Work Inspection Requests (WIR) through EDMS.
• Prepare daily site progress reports and obtain consultant sign-off.
• Attend Construction Department meetings and take minutes.
• Complete other tasks assigned by leaders.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing construction documents, records, and the collection, archiving, and preservation of correspondence and related documents for the Construction Department.
• Responsible for collecting and categorizing original construction records, construction progress photos, acceptance forms, and other related completion documents, and filing softcopy documents.
• Raise and close Work Inspection Requests (WIR) through EDMS.
• Responsible for daily site progress report and get consultant sign.
• Attend relevant Construction Department meetings and take meeting minutes.
• Complete other tasks assigned by leaders.

Requirements

• Diploma and above
• Fresh graduated are welcome
• Preference will be given to candidates who can speak Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers.
